Phew! That was fun, what day is it now?
Co-op ran smoothly, no more tears in Temari class, just sitting in the living room stitching. The helper ladies stationed themselves near the young students to keep them on track and thread their needles for them. All these balls are being embroidered now. Writing the direction of embroidery on the white board really helped the girls understand their printed instructions.
The Jr. F.I.R.S.T. Lego club decided to be the Popsickle team, so they made popsickles in the beginning of their meeting (who knew the blender and reamer were so much fun?) and the mini pops were frozen once the meeting was nearly over and the Lego models cleaned up.
Sunday morning M and K’s cold that I thought they were finished with heated up again, so Dan stayed home with them (I was the one who had prepped the Sunday School Lesson.) Our visiting missionaries spoke about their work supporting orphan care in Ethiopia, but I didn’t think my second graders would sit still through the power point presentation, so I just got B’s synopsis.
That evening little R taught me a new way to drive to her house through Rehoboth backroads. We saw a cranberry bog, some horses and llamas. Teen Challenge of Brockton sang and gave testimonies. Other years marijuana was the drug that the stories started with. This time it was percoset. Still, the point was, God can pick up a person whatever their state, and value them until they value themselves.
I wrote about my Mental Design Team’s take on crochet charts, and interaction with Mood Boards. I think this series of blog posts are funny. How about you?
