K- Ah need music!
DH hit the cd button.
B- Uh-oh Dad, that’s the Narnia CD (the soundtrack from the Waldon Movie)
Me- It’s OK , I’m not driving, and this is a pretty part.
M – Dad, did you know Mom won’t play this CD when she’s driving? She says she’d get nervous and hit a telephone pole.
DH – We’re almost up to the battle, I’ll skip it when it gets scary.
M – Aww! Do you have to?
K – THIS scary!
I pushed the next track button.
K – Ah no hear music.
DH – We are in between tracks K, just wait. Oh, this is the preparing for battle part.
B – How come the good guys get a choir, but the Daleks do too? (Bad guys in Dr Who)
DH – Because nothing else is as effective as a human voice.
Me – Imagine if the characters could hear the sound track
DH- Yeah, ‘They’ve brought out the drums, choir and brass, it’s time to fight bravely or die trying boys.’
K – This scary!
I love that: “Ah no hear music!”
I’m so glad I’m recording her grammar mistakes now – so I can be happy when she learns the proper way. Though that will be a little sad too.
