I dropped DH’s glasses off at Hilco yesterday at 11:30AM. They didn’t blink at the apoxy clay fix on the side pieces, or the electrical tape, they just said, come back at 1Pm. They had children’s books in the waiting area, clearly marked parking spaces, and clear, big signs about where to go (maybe people getting their glasses fixed need help seeing?)
When I came back, they had replaced the ear pieces, the nose pads, and re-welded the bridge. They only charged $25. You don’t have to live locally, they also work through the mail.
Wow! Great price. But did they roll up the electrical tape and return it to you? =)
No – but K did get to sing songs in the waiting room while looking at at vintage Robert Louis Stevenson whatever you call the children’s poems book.
