Last week we needed to use the TV more than usual to keep the kids cheery as DH did the work of all the adults of the house and B was away at camp. Thomas the Tank Engine videos charmed M and K. They pulled out the wooden tracks, and the original story book.
When B came back, he asked his Dad how steam engines worked, and did he think we’d ever go back to Scranton PA to see Steam town again, where he remembered a cut away engine with notes about how it had worked.
