On our way home from evening church, my husband pulled over. A police car coming towards us flashed all his lights and stopped. DH said, "I didn’t think I was speeding, oh look!" and he pointed to a fawn running just out from in front of the sqad car, in front of our mini van. He was invisible to us in the dusk until he went in front of the officer’s head lights.
What wits that man must have, the timing was impressive. We waved and continued home, safe thanks to him.
