We have a new to us Dodge Grand Caravan. While it is orange, it’s a subtle orange. It’s not orange enough to make it easy to find in a parking lot, but it was orange enough to lower the price of the van.
It’s Matt’s actual birthday this week, but we took my Mom to the Boston Flower Show for her birthday. Kari drew the weeping flowering cherry.
Then we had birthday breakfast for dinner. Now that Ben leaves the house as early as Dan does to get to work (engineering school co-op) breakfast is a harder meal to synchronize. But it was easy to fix after an eventful day in the city, and before the family rushed out the door for prayer meeting. Also Ben made the cake. This was a birthday meal without the stress; I’m getting to the stage where my kids help me and it’s faster than doing it myself!
The new 10 Mile River park has witch Hazels. These don’t have much scent, but anything that blooms in the snow is welcome.
