My Mom bought some colorful Kindergarten workbooks for K, which K thinks are more official than the Miquon games and Cursive First exercises I do with her. It works out well because the spaces to write in the early Miquon sheets are small, and K is still in the 2 inch high numberal stage.
She can form all the numberals and letters, but she doesn’t remember which is which to read them.
So I was delighted to see how she’d made slashes on the bottom of her glitter cards to remind herself which symbol went with which number. Like M, she thinks of 6 as two threes, and 9 as 3 threes.
