Yesterday I gave K the alphabet cookie cutters with her play dough. She was so excited that she used them as models for cutting letters out of paper.
I bought her a ream of paper Tuesday, unfortunately, it’s hard for me to tell what is a priceless project (or present) and what is practice. She is also on a tape kick.
We just send some baby things to our cousin, so K has been cutting out cards, drawing on them, then wrapping them in tape and other paper as “presents.” I can handle confetti on my kitchen floor. I’m glad K is getting the idea that we celebrate by making things for each other. Even if I’m running out of room to store my “presents.”
Come to think of it, sending them out is a way to fix the storage problem…
