M had just started his math page, so I turned my eyes to K. Yesterday she was trying to copy bones from our DK book of the human body (I think curious George had a bone break on PBSkids lately?) so she showed me her hands and asked if I saw the bones.
Which reminded me of a finger game, so I performed
“Here is the church,
and here is the steaple,
open the doors
and see all the people.”
She’s into songs and finger games, but I keep forgetting to do them. She’s also into repetition. So I did it again, and again and again. K had just started to do it too, when M remarked, “I get it Mom, but they look more like larva than people.”
Boy does that comment sound like a homeschooler! Lol.
