Pretty: When I read the Organised and Inspired Scrapbooker, I loved the glass jars full of pretty things, but I took a while for me to realise that I could afford matching glass jars. Matching storage jars might cost $6 a piece, but I go though two peanut butter jars a week for nothing. On a high shelf you can’t see the printing on the top of the lids either.
happy: The neighbor’s cat, KiKi likes to rest on our porch chair. Some mornings I have to wait until the cat visit is over to start the singing/devotions/read a loud/all together part of homeschool. It’s the only part of the day they do school all together, they are all 5 years apart.
I’m not sure this counts as funny, or rueful, but I was so busy taking pictures that I forgot to give K her warning not to touch Kiki’s tummy: she did and he scared her. No skin broken though.
Sunday afternoon M called me to come quickly with the camera
K is more likely to rumble her bothers than snuggle them, so he was right, this was an unusual scene.
real: My Mother-in-law found a set of child scaled baking tools for K. She keeps them in the play dough canister, but I wash them for her and let her ‘help’ when I do bake. Still; look at her ‘piecrust!’
Great photos! I’ve been meaning to look for a set of child sized rollers and such for my boys… What good fun to get to help Mommy too!
Love that snuggly picture! Maybe you could try your devotions while the kitty is there – our cat seems to like being nearby during prayers.
Mom Guest bought K’s set from the http://www.curiouschef.com/ – nice tie in with my blog name, but unintentional.
I could try running prayers at the same time, but the kids also want to have dibs on the black chair…
