Pretty
I love the tulips with the emerging peony stalks.
Happy
B successfully potted on his seedlings.
K drew her first symbolically representational face – it’s a dinosaur with hair and a happy face. It took me 9 shots to get her smiling and holding the picture still – well, at least a photo of her smiling, and a photo where the picture was still.
Funny, Real
B’s seedlings are seeds saved from an incredibly hot pepper the farm stand lady gave him because she did not know it’s seed origin and could not sell it (her farm is getting it’s organic certification). M’s interest in gardening has spiked since he bought a Venus Flytrap.
Lovely! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you too.
Love your daughter’s picture! What fun!
Thanks, I guess she’s at the bodyless portrait stage.
Christine,
I’ve missed you! And it cracks me up– our kids are such siblings under the skin! The venus flytrap and then dragon-as-a-first-representational-drawing… could be our house!
Blessings,
Annie
missed you too! Welcome back from Lent, it looks like it was a productive visit – sorry about your knee!
I’ve become such a boy’s Mom. When some lady on the radio today got wound up about how Western Civ could be saved if we only focused on Love like we were all doing today with the Royal Wedding…I turned it off as too drippy, then thought, would I have done this 14 years ago, or just thought, “Oh lady, a nice young couple getting married is not the same thing as the second coming.”
I guess K is a girl with big brothers. But she only wants to wear pink, which is convenient, because all the ready made clothes in her size are already that color.
