Read enough of the galleys of Susan Wise Bauer’s new book,
The History of the Medieval World: From the Conversion of Constantine to the First Crusade
to write a sensible blog review in February – I’m not so great at on-line reading, though it does make reading while nursing a toddler easier – no pages to drop.
Finish some sewing for DH
Finish designing my grey mittens
Knit my grey mittens
Sew K a Waldorf Doll from a kit my friend L said I could have so it would quit being a UFO in her closet
Teach M to crochet, B too? I discovered some Pokemon Animaguri on Ravelry, with free patterns, both boys are intrigued.
Knit some finger puppets for K’s birthday
sew those Summer tops that have sat in my sewing basket for a year and a half – we probably will not have a cool summer again like this year and I will want them!
Design the last several pages of the scrap book for my friends I went to China with
Find pale purple satin fabric to bind the scrap book cover with
sew scrap book cover
mail scrap book to friends
plan a Spring or Fall vacation with DH – this year we won’t have to use his time off for sick leave, travel or a new baby – unless the Lord has a sense of humor.
Make a list of activities to do with the kids so we don’t feel like we’ve wasted the weekends on computer games.
Make a list of things the kids can do to amuse themselves without computer games/DVDs.
Oh, drudgery stuff: get the test out of the name of the co-op web site name – got to go bother my brilliant college student friend, maybe I can offer pizza? His rates have probably jumped up.
Load up the blog page on the co-op web page with old photos and reminices of old classes we’ve run – but I don’t want to bother until we’ve changed the name as there will be much bothersome cutting and pasting, why add more to cut and paste?
Change the button so if anyone does click ‘contact us’ I get an e-mail, not the brilliant college student – he would definitely forward it to me, but shouldn’t have to bother!
This may take me until Easter, maybe next Summer.
Yeah, I have a similar list– lots of projects UFOs that need to be things I finished. I look forward to the mittens…and the Pokemon.
I am halfway done with the sewing for DH
I have designed the mittens, although as I knit them, I will probably have to re-design them again – one has already been knit halfway 3 times!
I've contacted my brilliant college student friend – I'm not sure what has changed on the website though
I did find a web source for binding satin for the book cover, haven't ordered it yet though
My friend did drop off the doll kit – it looks so cute!
DH's sewing is done, I'm working on dolly's wig, she needs some clothes, and K wants to play with her now – what is a birthday?
Thank you brilliant college student friend!
the website has a new name, a scrapbook page, and the right date for our new meeting! I've ditched my own e-mail address as the contact spot on homeschool world for our listing, and put the website up instead – that should cut down on new spam.
The scrapbook is done! The mittens are 90% done!
