Happy almost 500th entry to me! I decided to re-visit old posts and see how things have changed in the little more than 2 years since I started blogging. I have 7 more posts to go to hit 500, and I’d like to make it special – but I haven’t figured out anything super amazing to do on it yet, any suggestions?
I started blogging because Cathy Zielske recommended it in her book Clean and Simple Scrapbooking the Sequel, to get the jitters out of writing journaling for scapbooks, and to create a set of pre-written journaling entries while I’m at it.
It became a way to connect with other homeschooling bloggers, and to have a place to carry on discussions – longer winded than on a forum. I’ve also gotten photos up and visible to relatives without having to print them or mail them! (The photo rich entries seem to be the most popular ones.)
So far I’ve used the journaling in my boy’s homeschool portfolios, and on 4 scrapbook pages.
Believe it or not, that’s progress!
