I did take a shower, B and I had a long, good discussion. We uprooted the tomato with blight, picked healthy tomatoes and green beans, B observed that the Native Americans must have weeded their three sister’s patches much more often than we do, because it’s tricky to find the beans in between the corn and pumpkins, and to unthread the weeds.
I iced my foot when we got back up the hill, this is the furthest I’ve tried to walk yet. B manned the stroller.
Then I let the kids watch library videos, and I played scrapbook! I was bad. But the things turned out well ;-)
My new schedule book, from staples. I used the colors of the binder to guide me in my embellishments.
And I played with the dividers too:
I learned how to do the photo collage for the front cover by studying the Cathy Zielske tutorial on Ali Edward’s Blog.
But of course, I have the GIMP, not photo shop, because it’s free (and good.) I just had to read the manual a lot on line. You don’t need a Linux computer to use the Gimp, you can download a widows version at source Forge.
