M and I were just practicing writing the lowercase cursive letters on the white board with their sounds (these are the only letters he knows so far). With travel and sickness, he’s forgotten a lot, so today was review to hopefully ease his frustration with himself.
When I demonstrated z, which doesn’t come up too often in spelling lists, he cooed, "That’s a baby mountain with a blanket pulled over his head, and a Daddy mountain snuggling him."
I added, "And they are both making z’s because they fell asleep and are snoring ‘zzzzzzzzzzzzzz’?"
"Yes." he nodded.
"Can I put that on my blog?" I asked.
"Yes," he answered, "And I even want you to put that on your blog."
