My most embaressing problem stemming from the flu was that when I e-mailed the Eagle’s Wings Co-op not to come to the big planning meeting, I messed up how I sent it and only thought I’d sent it out. They all showed up to a dark empty building! We need to build in some redundancy in our leadership, and need to dust off the phone chain again. Our membership shifts so each time around that those chains really really change fast, and I so hate phoning, that I’ve neglected that. I was cutting the margin too short.
I e-mailed them an explanation titled "HOw i messed up" and got one back titled "HOw i am forgiven."

Our co-op uses this free online service to make calls of this type. It makes up to 25 calls FREE and you can see who got the message and who did not. It is like an instant phone tree. You can upload a simple database and store all your folks' phone numbers in just a few seconds. Hope this helps you should the flu ever visit your family again.
